Office of Deacon:

The office of deacon is very important to the local church. Deacons are the agents of mercy and caring to those in the congregation who are poor or needy. God has designed this ministry as a practical office that serves God’s people who need help. Those that serve God well as deacons are rewarded.
Qualifications for the office of deacon are given in 1 Timothy 3:8-12.
A potential candidate must meet every qualification or they are not qualified to serve as a deacon.
John Adams

John Adams is a Southern California native, and has been a member of Roosevelt Community Church since moving to the Antelope Valley with his wife Leah and their children in 2010. He has worked as an IT professional and systems integrator for various defense contractors in the valley since they married in 2003.  He is thankful for God’s grace and providence in his life which brought them together and connected them with the lives of such a great community of believers where the Word is faithfully taught week after week.  They continually look forward to the opportunities to use their time and talents in service to the body.
