What to Expect:
Visiting a church for the first time can be a difficult thing to do.  We want to provide you with enough information about what to expect so your visit to Roosevelt Community Church (RCC) is a positive experience.  At RCC, we have tried to create a warm and welcoming place where you will feel loved and accepted.  With that in mind, we hope you find the following information helpful.

Greeters:
As you make your way through the front doors, you will be greeted by people who are there to make you feel welcome.  They will help you find your way around and are a helpful resource for your questions.  You will be given a bulletin with the notices for the week, and you will be given a “Visitor’s Welcome Packet.”  If you choose to complete the card, we promise to keep your information confidential.  The purpose of the visitor’s card is help you get connected at RCC and to welcome you with a letter from our pastor and a small gift.  This card, when completed, can returned to a greeter.

Sunday Mornings:
We have adult and children Sunday school followed by our corporate worship services every Sunday.  Our adult Sunday school class begins at 9:00 AM and consists of a time of teaching and discussing God’s Word.  You can expect the class to be relevant, challenging, and most importantly, based on the absolute truth of God’s Word.  We love children at RCC and have a safe and fun place for kids 12 and under to connect and learn.  They will have a lesson from the Bible, sing songs and play games.  We have a nursery available for children 4 and under.

Our Worship service begins at 10:00 AM and generally lasts about 90 minutes.  This service consists of the public reading of scripture, prayer, singing, and the proclamation of God’s Word.  We celebrate the Lord's Table on the first Sunday of every month.  There is childcare provided for children 4 and under and a cry room is available for parents with infants and toddlers where the service can be heard.

Atmosphere & Dress:
RCC has a casual and relaxed atmosphere.  You will find a variety of styles of dress on a Sunday morning some will dress up, some will dress more informal.  There are no expectations about what you should wear so please dress for whatever is comfortable for you.

Welcome:
We have been waiting for you and would love for you to join us.  We believe that every person who comes into this special fellowship was sent by God Himself.  It is not by accident that we have the joy of meeting you.  Therefore, above all else, we want to express Christ’s love to you with genuine, heartfelt warmth.  We are so eager to know you, and we are excited to share with you the marvelous ways God is working in our Church.
